Join the California Nature Art Museum and Artisan Perfumer Susan Farber for an immersive, hands-on natural perfume-making workshop on Sunday, February 8th from 1PM-4PM in celebration of Valentine’s Day. You’ll explore the rose—the flower of love—and create your own custom fragrance with rose at its heart.

During this creative experience, you’ll craft your own natural perfume with a curated selection of exquisite essential oils and absolutes—each chosen to complement the rose and enrich your fragrance design. You’ll learn the essentials of perfume structure and formulation, and receive personalized guidance to bring out the type of rose you wish to express—whether fresh, fruity, musky, spicy, sweet—so your fragrance becomes uniquely your own.

In this immersive workshop, you will …

  • Learn about the symbolism and beauty of the rose in perfumery.

  • Receive step-by-step guidance as you design your own rose-inspired fragrance.

  • Leave with your custom-made perfume and a take-home guide of the process.
