James Studarus

James Studarus is an avid traveler, nature enthusiast, photographer, and accountant residing in Santa Barbara, California. After experiencing the Northern Lights while in Iceland in 2016, he was drawn deeper into the art of photography. Since then, he has won a handful of photography awards capturing peak aurora in Alaska, Canada, and Scandinavia, and has become a resource for others curious about seeing the Northern Lights. Studarus has written articles about his experiences under the lights, as well as important information to help guide others eager to see peak aurora. He created an adventure business, Stardust Experience, dedicated to taking small groups to capture the Aurora Borealis in the northernmost parts of the globe. The goals of his travel, photography, and adventures are to become inspired by beauty, learn about our universe and thoroughly enjoy life.
