Coastal Cleanup Day at the Santa Ynez River has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances outside of the museum's control. If you are still interested in participating in Coastal Cleanup Day 2026, the closest alternative sites are Refugio State Beach, El Capitan State Beach, and Jalama Beach.

We are deeply sorry for the cancellation, and look forward to hosting you next year!

The California Coastal Commission organizes the statewide event and the international event is organized by the Ocean Conservancy.
