Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 28, 2019, when the Wildling Museum of Art and Nature will hold its fabulous Annual Spring Barbecue, Judy and Jack Stapelmann Gold Sponsors, at a delightful venue. Every year our barbecue gives you the opportunity to spend an afternoon at a beautiful outdoor location somewhere in Santa Barbara County while supporting the Wildling at its most important fundraiser of the year.
We are delighted to announce that the 16th annual barbecue will be held at Firestone Vineyard in Los Olivos from 3 PM to 6PM. With a storied past in wine history, one that helped to establish Santa Barbara County as a significant wine growing region, we are honored to be at the now Foley-owned property, in the middle of rolling hills, mature vineyards, and distant mountains.
This year we honor Jean Schuyler with the Wilderness Spirit Award. Jean has spent a lifetime supporting nonprofits throughout Santa Barbara County and has been a very generous supporter of the Wildling and other environmental organizations. She truly has a heart that embraces wilderness preservation and education and has made a real difference in our community!
